Travelling solo to Ireland as a woman: joining a small group without feeling like you're on a group tour

Many women want to travel on their own terms, without organising every detail or spending every evening alone. A small, hosted group can be the answer, if it's done well.

Your own room

The single most important thing. On The Beara Edit you have your own room. No sharing with a stranger.

Company, not obligation

You're part of the group without having to participate in every minute of it. Walk at the front, walk at the back, walk alone for an hour. Skip a day. Join everyone for dinner, or don't.

Small matters

With approximately 15 women per departure, conversations happen naturally and nobody gets lost in the crowd.

Arriving alone

From the airport onwards, you're looked after. That's often the part solo travellers value most: arriving somewhere new and not having to work anything out.

Alone when you want to be

Never lonely unless you want to be.

The 2027 private itinerary

Perhaps Ireland is exactly what you need.

The first Beara Edit departures arrive in 2027.
